Locals

It is always a good idea to talk to locals before venturing out for a kite. If they are not out kiting then probably you should not be out either. Most locals want to make sure there are no incidents at their spot so have a chat with them, find out the local rules and hazards and kite safe!

Biting Things

Lots of people think Australia is full of biting things like snakes, spiders, ants, flies, sharks, jellyfish etc etc etc

It is! But the good news is most of these things are more scared of you than you are of them so you are likely not to even see any of them.

If you are travelling in Nothern Queensland in summer months make sure to wear stinger suits in the water.
